Chennai Heart Centre

Chennai Heart Centre attached to K.M Hospitals has all facilities for cardiac evaluation included color doppler Echocardiography, Computerisrd Treadmill test & Holter monitring. Master checkup & Executive cardiac health checkups are done regularly at nominal cost.

K.M. IVF Centre

KM IVF centre was started in 2009 all modern facilities for treatment of infertility like IVF / ICSI/ Vitrification of embryos / Cryo preservation of sperms / frozen Embyo transfer etc., Other procedures like IUI/ HSG / Diagnostic & Operative Laparoscopy / Diagnostic & Operative hysteroscopy testicular biopsy / TESA are done regularly. Our team of experts are Dr. T.P.Kangu M.D.D.G.O. infertility specialist, Dr, T.P.Karkandu M.B.B.S, ur embryologist and Dr. Leela Krishnan M.S.M.Ch, our urologist and andrologist.

We have an air conditioned pharmacy & is well stocked to cater to the needs of various specialities. Generatorattached to the hospital maintains uninterrupted power supply so that cold chain is maintained. Pharmacy is managed by qualified trained pharmacists round the clock.

Our laboratory is well equipped to carry out all bio-chemical tests, all hormone assays, all haematological tests, and all microbiological test. We have a full fledged physiotheraphy unit with facilities for all forms of physiotherapy and is manned by a senior physiotherapist.

We carry out Master health check up taiored for men/women, diabetic health check up, cardiac executive health check up, menopausal profile, pregnancy profile, cancer screening/well women checkup at affordable cost.

In Patient Services

We have 6 beds-A/c rooms, 1 bed-A/c deluxeroom, 6 beds-2 no triple sharing A/c & Non A/c room, 6 ICU beds(medical), 3 ICU beds (surgical),4 Paediatric beds in gen ward, 8 regular beds in gen ward and 7 day care beds.

Intensive Care Unit

Our hospital has got a well equipped spacious state of the art intensive care unit with 6 beds. Each bed is equipped with a multi para meter monitor ( ECG, NIBP , Spo2), infusion pumps, Syringe pumps and defibrillator. We have advanced ventilators to attend to patients who require ventilatory care. Facilities to do bedside color doppler echo cardiography and bedside ultrasound are available.

ICU is equipped to handle any medical/diabetics emergencies round the clock. The ICU functions under the direct supervision of our cardiologist Dr. P.S.Mohanamurugan M.D.,D.M.

Diabetology unit

Our laboratory is well equipped to carry out all bio-chemical test required for diabetics and unit works under the direct supervision of our Diabetologist. Dr. T.P.Karkandu M.B.B.S.,Dip.Diab. Facilities to do Neuro evaluation / Vascular / Cardiac evaluation is avalable.

Hitech Birth Unit

Our labour room is well equipped with facilities to monitor high risk pregnancy and conduct delivery. We conduct labour, pain free. Facilities for cord blood banking available at request. Our Neonatologist Dr. K. Gita M.D.,D.C.H looks after the neonates and attends to all babies delivered and attend to caesarian sections done in the hospital.

Operation Theatre

Operation theatre consists of one major O.T which is equipped with facilities to perform all major surgical procedures including Laparoscopic and Endoscopic surgeries in various fields like Gynaecology, Gastro enterology, Urology and ENT. To minor operation theatre one for labour, and minor surgical procedure and one for IVF purposes functions in the hospital.
